Park Overview
Twin Harbors Beach State Park is a 172-acre camping park on the Pacific coast, four miles south of Westhaven. The area allows opportunities for nature study and seaside activity along the ocean shore, and the chance to lie in the sand and soak up the sun in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Winter: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Check-in time, 2:30 p.m.
Check-out time, 1 p.m.
Quiet hours: 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Twin Harbors State Park will temporarily close Schafer Road beach access to vehicle traffic beginning March 1. Due to deteriorating beach conditions, Schafer Road beach access is open only to pedestrians until further notice.

Significant History
During the 1930s, the park was a military training ground. The last remaining barracks were removed in 1977.

The Pacific Ocean offers opportunities for surf fishing.
Picnic NotesThe park offers one kitchen shelter with electricity and three unsheltered picnic tables. The kitchen shelter is equipped with a refrigerator, range, sink, outlets and a wood-burning fireplace. It is reservable through (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
Group CampingThe park offers a group camp that accommodates up to 60 people. Parking is limited to 10 cars. Fees vary with size of the group. To reserve, (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
